SRINAGAR
"DAL LAKE" and "NAGIN LAKE" Floating
on a postcard lake in one of Kashmir's famous houseboats

Venice of the East". Water - powered peddlers sell
everything from saffron to paper mache deer to the houseboat
door. Ride a Shikara - a Kashmiri gondola - to the watery
vegetable markets and see the mountains mirrored in

DAY 01. ARRIVE DELHI
Arrival by International flight
in Delhi. Pick up from the airport and transfer to hotel about
40 minutes drive in Delhi. Rest of the day at leisure. Over
night at hotel. DAY
02. DELHI - MANALI
After breakfast visiting full day sightseeing
of New Delhi. In New Delhi you will visit Qutab Minar, Lotus
Temple (also known as Bahai House), Birla Temple (also known
as Laxmi Narayan Temple), Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Jantar
Mantar, Parliament House & President House. Overnight
in hotel.
DAY 03. DELHI - SRINAGAR
After breakfast transfer to airport to
catch the flight to Srinagar about 01.25 hours Pick up from
Srinagar airport and transfer to houseboat. After lunch take
a Shikara ride of 2 hrs. In the late afternoon on Dal Lake.
Overnight in house boat.
DAY 04. SRINAGAR
After Breakfast you will visit Mughal
Gardens, its another distinctive feature of srinagar is the
mughal gardens with their terraced lawns, cascading fountains
and bright flowerbeds, overlooking the panorama of the dal
lake Shalimar bagah (15 km) farthest of the three gardens
was built by emperor jahangir for his wife nur jehan. Nishat
bagah (11 km) was designed in 1633 as by asaf khan, brother
of nur jehan.chashmashahi (royal spring) the spring of refreshing
sweet water cherished by the mughals, is surrounded by a mughal
garden laid out by shah jahan is 1632 ad. On a nearby spur
of the mountains is the ancient monument of pari mahal, planned
out by dara shikoh as a Sufi school surrounded by a beautiful
garden, Shankaracharya Temple etc. Night in the houseboat.
DAY 05. SRINAGAR
After breakfast visit Places like Sufism
and Sufi Saint Shah Hamden Mosque, Rozabal, Hazratbal, Makhdoom
Sahib Dastagir Sahib, jama masjid baba reshi etc. Overnight
in house boat.
DAY 06. SRINAGAR
Today after breakfast you will be ready
for full day Shikara ride. It will give you a lifetime Experience.
You will be passing through canals, floating gardens, lotus
gardens, Char Chinar Island, Vegetable Garden. Overnight in
house boat.
DAY 07. SRINAGAR - GULMARG
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (2,650,
/56 km) is known as flowers of meadow is one of India's premier
hill resorts. Historically a favorite haunt of emperor jahangir,
gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional
beauty-it also turns into India's premier ski resorts in winter
and is thronged by thousands of devotees all year round. The
gondola cable car offers ride to the top of apharwat range
to a height of 14,000 ft for viewing the Himalayan peaks in
summer and for down hill skiing in winter. Overnight in the
houseboat.
DAY 08. PAHALGAM
After breakfast a day trip to Pahalgam
(2,130 m/90km) is situated at the confluence of the sheshnag
and the lidder streams. Once a humble shepherd's village,
it is now Kashmir's premier summer resort, cool even during
the height of summer .the resort is surrounded by many places
of interest the best being the upland meadow of baisaran.hagan,
on the way to chandanwari, is an idyllic spot for picnics
and mammal, one of the eight tiny village of pahalgam. Overnight
in the houseboat.
DAY 09. SONAMARG
After breakfast a day trip to sonamarg
(2,730 m/84 km) lies at the head of the sindh valley .the
drive through this valley presents a spectacular facet of
the Kashmir countryside. Sonamarg is surrounded by colorful
mountains and thick pine forests. There are many attractive
walks the best being a trek or pony ride to the thajiwas glacier.
Over night at houseboats.
DAY 10. ONWARDS FLIGHT
After breakfast checkout from
the houseboat and our assistance will transfer you to airport
to fly onwards.
