Water Skiing & Surfing

Water Skiing, Wind surfing, Yachting, are other joyful but less cumbersome and inexpensive water sports available in Coastal States of India; include Gujrat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa. These as well as others, water sports such as Para sailling, Jet skies, Water scooters and boating, are offered by most of the coastal beach resorts.

Gopalpur on sea in Orissa, Chorwad and Ahmadpur Mandvi in Gujarat are two examples of relatively quite beaches. Lakshadweep offers excellent wind surfing, Snorkeling, and Scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of the lagoons which surround each island. Lakes of Kashmir- besides these coastal beaches resorts, offer water sports such as water skiing, wind surfing.

Dal and Naagin lakes in Srinagar and Manasbal Lake, 32 km. from Srinagar are large expanse of water (natural lakes). Moored in lakes are privately owned bathing boats whichhire out water skies, motor launches and instructors. Water sports in Kashmir is a fun during summer months from May to October.
